Founded in 2009, Cooperation Texas’ mission is to create sustainable jobs through the development, support and promotion of worker-owned cooperatives. Cooperation Texas works with Texas workers seeking to start or strengthen worker-owned cooperatives and business owners seeking to sell their enterprise to their workers. Its achievements include the development of worker-owned cooperatives in a range of industries including residential cleaning, brewing, technology, natural building, and baking.
