Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation

The Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation (CHCDC) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1995 by Coppin State University. The group supports basic community planning and improvement efforts (including lead safety and vacant property management) in the Greater Coppin Heights/Rosemont community, as well as service-learning opportunities for Coppin State students.  Most recently, the CDC is partnering with Total Health Care, one of Maryland’s largest minority-run, nonprofit, community health centers, to redevelop a vacant, dilapidated historic property into a new community health center.
