Founded in May 1939 through the efforts of ten county employees who used a cigar box to collect deposits, the member-owned financial cooperative has grown to become a multi-million dollar, professionally managed financial institution. Today, Dade County Federal Credit Union has 11 locations, over 95,600 members and nearly $637 million in assets.
