Moscow Food Co-op

Founded in 1973 as a volunteer-run co-op, the Moscow Food co-op has grown rapidly in recent years. From 1999 to 2004, sales more than doubled from $1.5 million to $3.5 million and the co-op's floor space will more than double in the fall of 2005, when it moves into its new 15,000 square-foot space.
