Center for Housing Policy launches new web guide

HousingPolicy.org a new resource developed by the Center for Housing Policy, the research arm of the National Housing Conference. The site provides government and business leaders, housing practitioners and advocates, and other interested individuals with timely and reliable information on successful policies that states and localities have adopted to expand the availability of homes for working families.

The website includes a menu-driven toolbox and strategy sections, as well as more text-heavy sections, including a menu of policies that can be used by communities to expand available affordable housing, and a page that provides a complete list of how communities can develop comprehensive plans, tailored to meet local needs.

Particularly valuable, the website also includes a glossary of affordable housing terms, as well an A-Z topic index.
