Pratt Area Community Council

Although formed in 1964 by three community members, the Pratt Area Community Council (PACC) soon encompassed other community organizations in Forte Greene, Clinton Hill, the Wallabout Community and later the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood. Achieving community victories by the mid-1970s, including increased police presence, a Clinton Hill library branch, and new parks and community gardens, today, the Community Council has expanded into housing, economic development, and social services.  Since 1988, PACC has leveraged over $100 million in private and public financing to develop more than 600 units of housing, 17 retail stores, and community facility space.
