Working in partnership with Asian Americans for Equality, the Renaissance Economic Development Corporation provides financing and technical assistance in low-income, immigrant neighborhoods in order to promote the creation of low-income, minority, women, and immigrant entrepreneurs. Since its founding in 1997, Renaissance has lent more $25 million to more than 700 small businesses and has provided technical assistance to more than 2,500 entrepreneurs.
