The ultimate goal of the Financial Literacy Coalition of Central Texas (FLCCT) is to enhance community prosperity by providing Central Texans with the knowledge and skills to make well-informed financial decisions. Since 2001, FLCCT has educated over 2,500 Texans on budgeting, excessive spending, savings and investment, mortgaging a home, and paying for college. Their education classes are available for youth and adults, and are instructed by trained volunteers.
