Prosperity and justice: A plan for the new economy

IPPR Commission on Economic Justice

In the wake of Britain’s vote to leave the European Union in 2016, the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) convened the IPPR Commission on Economic Justice to put forward policy proposals to address the economic hardship faced by many across the UK. This final report from the Commission puts forward a ten-point plan for economic reform, grounded in the principle that a fairer economy is a stronger economy. Proposed solutions include measures such as expanding employee ownership and developing a Citizen’s Wealth Fund.
