Student founded and student-run, Brooklyn College Coffee was founded in 2009 and opened in 2010 to serve the Brooklyn College community and its surrounding neighborhoods. Founded in 2009, Cooperation Texas’ mission is to create sustainable jobs through the development, support and promotion of worker-owned cooperatives. Cooperation Texas works with Texas workers seeking to start or strengthen worker-owned cooperatives and business owners seeking to sell their enterprise to their workers.  Its achievements include the development of worker-owned cooperatives in a range of industries including residential cleaning, brewing, technology, natural building, and baking.
